ATTITUDE IS EVERYTHING

Attitude is defined by one dictionary as manner, disposition, feeling, position, etc., with regard to a person or thing; tendency or orientation, especially of the mind.

One can have a Negative Attitude or Positive Attitude.

Attitude is a personal decision to make everyday and in every situation you face.

One of the most important steps you can take toward achieving your greatest potential in life is to learn to monitor your attitude and its impact on your work performance, relationships and everyone around you.

Your Attitude determines your Altitude in life.

We all have a choice. We can choose an inner dialogue of self-encouragement and self-motivation, or we can choose one of self-defeat and self-pity. It’s a power we all have. Each of us encounters hard times, hurt feelings, heartache, and physical and emotional pain. The key is to realise it’s not what happens to you that matters; it’s how you choose to respond.

I am here to challenge you this morning.  As a people we need to change our attitude. You may have great talent but if your attitude is bad you will not go far in whatever you do.  Examples, Laryea Kingston was a great player but missed the world cup in 2006 because of attitude, Mario Ballotali is a great player but struggles wherever he goes because of attitude and Ghana is not developed even though we have everything simply because of attitudes.

Our attitude towards God, Our attitude towards fellow Humans, Our attitude towards time, Our attitude towards work, Our attitude towards money, Our attitude towards environment and cleanliness and Our attitude towards defeat or failure need to change else we will go nowhere.

We have 365 days in a year and each presents new opportunities for us. It means in a year we have 365 opportunities. Why are you unemployed? Why are we poor as town, district or a nation? ATTITUDE!

Remember both the rich and the poor have 24 hours a day, 12 months a year, about 54 weeks in a year and 365 days in a year yet the poor is poor and the rich is rich. Think about it...
