According to Wikipedia, "A democracy is a political system, or a system of decision-making within an institution or organization or a country, in which all members have an equal share of power. Democracy in its earliest forms is generally associated with the efforts of the ancient Greeks and Romans." Please you may want to read a little more on the ancient democracy. Then Abraham Lincoln defined democracy as “…government of the people, by the people, and for the people.” Democracy is not only "talk make a talk", or only voting. I think being part of the process, owning the process (individually and collectively) and participating in the process in an informed manner without fear or favour to our collective benefit. That is my definition of democracy.  I sincerely think we are not practicing democracy in the world especially my country Ghana.
